About MotionTek Drive Systems

MotionTek Drive Systems is the trade name of Global Motion Technology Inc., a CNC and automation machine parts distributor headquartered in Ontario, Canada. We were founded in 2005, and for over 20 years we've supplied linear motion, drive, and control components to CNC machine builders, engineers, and automation professionals across Canada and the United States.

We're a parts and equipment supplier first — not a general industrial catalogue reseller. Everything we carry is chosen because it's part of a working CNC or motion-control drive system, and everything is stocked and shipped from our own facility in Ontario.

Beyond parts, we design and build custom CNC routers, plasma cutters, milling machines, laser systems, pick-and-place machines, and multi-axis automation equipment to customer specification. We also retrofit ageing CNC machines with modern controllers, servo drives, linear guide systems, and mechanical components to extend machine life and improve accuracy.

Our team also offers free pre-sales engineering consultation — helping customers calculate load, speed, and precision requirements, review drawings, and select the right ball screw pitch, rack module, or motor/servo torque rating before they buy.

We ship across Canada and to the United States via UPS Ground, UPS Express, and Canada Post. Most products are in stock and ship within 1–2 business days; non-stock or special-order items typically take 7–14 business days.
